Theresa Pierce: President of Theresa’s Waggin’ Wheels, Inc.

Theresa graduated from Pedigree Professional School of Dog Grooming in 1983. Upon graduation, she worked in several grooming shops, including one with her previous instructor from the school, Linda Kay Miles O’Neil, where she got more education in the finishing skills of pet grooming. Theresa also worked as a licensed instructor at the school where she graduated.

Upon, moving to Florida, she met Laurie Zacco. Laurie gave Theresa the encouragement she needed to start grooming for herself, instead of working for others. With their combined skills, Theresa’s Waggin’ Wheels was born. Theresa is a perfectionist groomer. She loves to see the smiles on the customer’s faces when they see their dog the first time after Theresa grooms them. It is often that she hears from the customers that “this is the best grooming that “Buddy” has ever had!!”

After nearly 30 years of grooming, Theresa has seen just about anything that you could imagine. She loves dogs (& cats) and looks forward to serving you and your furbaby!!!!

Laurie Zacco: Vice President of Theresa’s Waggin’ Wheels, Inc.

Laurie is a life long entrepreneur. She has been self-employed for decades. She began working in the landscape design field in the 80’s. Since then she has dabbled in many endeavors. Being the dog lover that she is, she finds mobile pet grooming a delight. As a young girl she helped her mother raise St. Bernards. Where ever they were, her mother Bobbye would have to say “Hi” and pet any dogs they would see. Laurie seems to have carried that same trait. She met Theresa, a professional groomer since 1983, and in 1999 Theresa’s Waggin’ Wheels, Inc was born. Laurie is the “dog whisperer”, calming and comforting the dogs all through the grooming process. She uses a Hydro-therapy bathing system that pressurizes the shampoo down to the skin, giving them a massage, at the same time, getting all of the shedding undercoat out. Laurie has always felt that she would work with dogs in one capacity or another. And often chuckles at the fact that her intuition has come true. She truely looks forward to spoiling your furbaby!

Dana Graffeo: Employee of Theresa’s Waggin’ Wheels, Inc.

Dana was raised in Lafayette, Lousiana. She started her grooming career in 1988. She apprenticed with a miniture and toy poodle breeder. She raised and showed miniature poodles from 1989-1999. She joined our team in May of 2004. Dana has experience grooming all breeds of dogs and cats. She has stayed abreast of all new information effecting the grooming industry, by attending all Florida’s Fun in the Sun, grooming seminars since 2001. We feel very lucky to have found Dana, and look forward to her being part of our crew, for years to come.
